PETERBOROUGH INTERNATIONAL LANGUAGE ACADEMY (P.I.L.A)
TERMS & CONDITIONS
The following terms and conditions form part of the booking contract and are regarded as being accepted by the parent/condition at the time of booking.
CONFIRMATION
Confirmation of a place at PILA will be confirmed once a completed booking form and the required deposit has been received.
DEPOSIT
A 20% non-refundable deposit per person is required at the time of booking.
FEES
The balance of fees due must be paid in full four weeks before the arrival date of the student. Payment must be made by bank transfer. No student may study at PILA without the full fees being paid.
CANCELLATION
Cancellation of a booking for any reason must be made in writing, and takes effect from the date we receive such notice and acknowledge safe receipt of the same.
Cancellation charges are detailed below:
– 31 or more days Full refund minus non-refundable deposit.
– 8 – 30 days 65% loss of total holiday cost.
– 2 – 7 days 85% loss of total holiday cost.
– 1 – 0 days 100% loss of total holiday cost.
HEALTH / SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Students are accepted on the assumption that they are in good health and that any special requirements (dietary/health) are notified to PILA at least 30 days in advance of the commencement of the students stay.
BEHAVIOUR
Students accept that by confirming a booking that they will at all times behave in an acceptable manner. Any student whose behaviour is deemed unacceptable will be asked to leave the programme and any additional costs incurred will be invoiced to the parent/guardian for immediate payment. PILA are not responsible for the changing of flights if a student is asked to leave the programme, this is the responsibility of the parent/guardian.
INSURANCE
All students must provide their own travel insurance which is adequate for the duration of their stay. PILA accept no responsibility for any loss of, damage to, property belonging to the student.
PASSPORT / VISA REQUIREMENTS
All students should ensure that prior to booking they are in possession of the correct passport and visa to support their attendance. PILA accept no responsibility for obtaining passports or visas nor have any influence regarding the granting of such visas with any British Embassy. If a student is unable to attend a course previously booked due to passport/visa issues, the standard cancellation charges apply
INDEMNITY
PILA do not accept any responsibility for any loss or expense incurred due to delays in public transport, weather, quarantine, sickness, strike, riot or any other cause out of their control.
PHOTOS AND IMAGES
PILA reserve the right to use any photographs taken whilst students are involved in school activities or day trips for advertising, social medial, marketing and PILA website.
CHANGES TO SCHEDULE
PILA reserve the right to change any aspect of the published programme.
